TAPS Ukraine – Making a Difference

As Ukraine continues to face immense challenges from Russia’s illegal and immoral invasion... Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS Ukraine) remains firm in its mission to deliver critical medical training and support where it’s needed most.

Requests for trauma care and tactical medical training came from units directly affected by ongoing hostilities, including the Bucha Witches and the 253rd Separate Assault Battalion.

TAPS Ukraine trainers worked side-by-side with soldiers, teaching lifesaving skills and defensive techniques that are essential in today’s unpredictable environment.  They also helped optimize fighting positions to counter new threats, such as drone attacks, and ensured every soldier had access to properly equipped Individual First Aid Kits.

Beyond the battlefield, TAPS supported special police units like the White Angels, who risk their lives to evacuate civilians from areas under constant shelling.

They joined forces with Mindful Step and A Jesus Mission to support veterans and aid workers, and took steps to protect vulnerable communities, providing medical kits and training to educators in Kyiv, so children have support during air raids.

A heartfelt thank you to Grant Bailey EMT-R TR-C and his TAPS Ukraine team for the work they are doing – saving lives and strengthening communities 💪

Also, a big thanks to our own Austability teams and partners for making our support of TAPS Ukraine possible… part of our broader mission to foster peace and security
