Supporting Families of Veterans
Earlier this year, Austability Australia proudly contributed AUD 50,000 to Legacy Australia to support the launch of a new Neurodivergence Stream within its Health and Wellbeing Fund.
Today, we’re pleased to share how that funding is already making a meaningful difference.
This initiative is dedicated to providing diagnostic and treatment support for children and dependents of veterans living with ADHD, autism, and other neurodivergent conditions.
It was officially unveiled at the Legacy National Advocacy Forum in Sydney. Since its launch:
- Three grants have already been awarded, helping families access vital services.
- More grants are on the way, expanding the reach and impact of this program.
- The initiative is fostering greater awareness and support for neurodivergent needs within the veteran community.
Managing Director of Austability Australia, Ben Khandan says "We honour the sacrifices made by those who serve by standing beside the loved ones they leave behind.”
This program reflects Austability’s ongoing commitment to community wellbeing and part of our broader mission of fostering peace and security.
