UPDATE: TAPS Ukraine
As Ukraine continues to defend itself against Russia’s illegal invasion, Austability is proud to support the efforts of Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) in Ukraine and their mission to build resilience and save lives.
Empowering Lifesaving Training
In December, TAPS Ukraine delivered a specialized tactical medical course for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The training, informed by a thorough needs assessment, focused on advanced haemorrhage control techniques. These skills are critical for saving lives on the battlefield.
Facilitating Partnerships and Knowledge Sharing
TAPS Ukraine continues to strengthen local partnerships, including collaboration with technology leaders like Karadag Technologies, specialising in anti-drone capabilities. TAPS has also been participating in international trauma care conferences, ensuring that Ukrainian medics are skilled in the latest techniques and able to deliver emergency care even in the most challenging environments.
Delivering Critical Supplies
Thanks to the generosity of donors and supporters, TAPS Ukraine was able to distribute:
- A Mini Starlink system for secure communications
- A donated vehicle and substantial medical/tactical supplies to the 253rd Separate Assault Battalion ‘Arey’,
- Medical items, fire-fighting equipment, and energy supplements to the 120th Assault Training Academy,
- Extreme Cold Weather Canadian Parkas to those on the front lines.
