Background 

In support of EUFOR’s peacekeeping mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austability was entrusted to deliver sixty (60) certified ISO shipping containers to Camp Butmir, Sarajevo.  

This project was designed to strengthen EUFOR’s operational logistics, ensuring secure, efficient storage and transport for mission-critical resources. 

Our Approach 

Austability sourced and delivered 60 high-quality, second-hand ISO containers within a strict 60-day window, meeting all technical and compliance requirements. 
All containers were UCIRC-certified, weather-resistant, and structurally sound, ensuring reliability in demanding operational environments. 
Our team managed complex customs and tax exemption procedures, streamlining the process and minimizing delays. 

Overcoming Challenges 

  • Tight Deadlines: 
    Through rigorous project monitoring and proactive logistics management, Austability met the demanding schedule without compromise. 

  • Stringent Standards: 
    We partnered with certification agencies to guarantee compliance, providing full technical documentation and inspection reports. 

The Results 
EUFOR received standardised, secure containers, boosting supply chain reliability and readiness for peacekeeping operations.  All units were delivered on time, with 50% of the requirement fulfilled by one-trip containers, exceeding client expectations. 

By repurposing second-hand containers, we contributed to environmental sustainability – reducing waste and supporting responsible resource use. Austability is proud to announce its debut appearance at the Indo Pacific 2025 International Maritime Exposition, taking place next month at the International Convention Centre in Sydney.
