Austability wishes Team Australia every success as 20 Australian veterans depart this week for Düsseldorf, Germany to compete in the Invictus Germany Sports Festival 2026 (IGSF-26), taking place from 12–14 June.
The Invictus Germany Sports Festival continues the legacy of the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023, bringing together wounded, injured and ill current and former service personnel from around the world through adaptive sport, rehabilitation and community connection. This year’s festival will feature indoor rowing, sitting volleyball, spinning and table tennis, with around 150 competitors expected from multiple nations.
As the Supporting Sponsor of Team Australia for the Invictus Germany Sports Festival 2026, Austability is proud to stand alongside the athletes, their families and the wider Invictus community. The partnership reflects Austability’s ongoing commitment to supporting veterans and delivering meaningful outcomes for those who have served.
Ben Khandan, Managing Director of Austability Australia, said the company was proud to support Team Australia on the international stage.
“On behalf of everyone at Austability, I would like to wish Team Australia all the very best as they head to Germany to represent our nation at the Invictus Germany Sports Festival.
“The courage, resilience and determination shown by these competitors is inspiring. Many within the Austability family are veterans themselves, so we understand the importance of connection, recovery and purpose that programs like Invictus create,” Mr Khandan said.
Austability’s sponsorship builds on a strong alignment between the two organisations, including a shared commitment to veteran wellbeing, resilience and community connection through sport and rehabilitation initiatives.
