Leading global defense & national security operator expands into Philippines

Austability today announced the opening of its newest wholly-owned subsidiary, Austability Mission Readiness Strategies Inc in the Philippines marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy in the Indo-Pacific.

The new presence, also known as Austability Philippines, will enable Austability to better support clients across defence, national security, government, and critical infrastructure – delivering mission-ready services closer to where they are needed.

“Establishing a footprint in the Philippines is a strategic step in strengthening our regional delivery capability, talent base, and partnerships,” Austability Philippines Managing Director, Richard Acott said.

“We’re investing for the long term, and we’re excited about the opportunity to support customers in the Philippines and across ASEAN with responsive, high-integrity solutions.”

Acott, brings decades of industry experience and has most recently been overseeing Austability’s presence across the entire Indo-Pacific region.  As head of the Philippine subsidiary, he will be responsible for country leadership, customer engagement, delivery, and partnerships.

Based in Bonifacio Global City, in Manila’s south east, Acott will also oversee initial hiring plans, partner onboarding, and service delivery ramp-up.

Austability Philippines will initially focus on  logistics and operational support, with scope to expand based on client demand and regional requirements, as part of its broader mission to foster peace and security.

Austability was initially established in 2015 in Australia to support the Five Eyes alliance (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and United States) and their allies and partners, ensuring our men and women in uniform receive the right support wherever they may be risking their lives in the fight against terrorism and transnational serious organized crime.
