Honoring Our Heroes: National Veterans and Military Families Month
At Austability, we take immense pride in honoring those who serve and the families who support them.
This Veterans and Military Families Month, we have reflected on the dedication, resilience, and sacrifices made by our military community.
With over 90% of our own workforce having served in or out of uniform, we deeply understand the unique challenges and commitments of military life.
In line with our commitment to supporting military families, we proudly support the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), an organization that provides compassionate care, resources, and peer-based emotional support to those grieving the death of a military loved one.
We are dedicated to supporting TAPS’ mission across various regions, including Ukraine, where we have contributed to medical training and the establishment of a resilience center.
This month and always, we stood with our veterans, active-duty service members, and their families, honoring their service and sacrifices.
Randy Higginbotham, leading our business in Guam in the western Pacific, is a retired US Army and Army National Guard officer with 28 years of active service, including two deployments to Iraq, three tours in Kosovo and assignments across the UK.
He said the key to his success in the armed forces was the support of his family.
“My wife and I have been married for 32 years. She managed our three sons on my multiple deployments. She is the rock and the glue of the family. She is my reason for success,” Randy said.
This month the world paused for Remembrance Day on the 11th of November, to honor our fallen - lest we forget.
Throughout the month on our social media platforms we have paid tribute to our Veterans and Military Families - thanking them for their courage and sacrifice in fostering peace and security around the world.
